Apple Pie



2 Premade pie crusts (or you could make the crust yourself, I'm clearly lazy by the end of Thanksgiving dinner, which is when this is usually made in my family)
1/2 c. Brown Sugar
1/2 c. Regular Sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp vanilla


4 different apples peeled and chopped (granny smith, macintosh, honey crisp, etc.)
1/2 lemon- juice
1/2 orange- juice
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg

Lay pie crust on bottom of pie pan and set aside.  Put all other ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with spoon until gooey.  Pour in pie pan.  Take other pie crust and roll it out, and cut vertical lines 1” wide.  Create the crust topping by weaving the pieces in an out.

Preheat oven to 370, bake for 50 minutes.
